An oasis in the city.
The Hangar is our attic apartment. Named by our boys who grew up there because it felt large enough to lodge an airplane, it is nestled in the eaves of the house and manages to be cozy despite nearly 10 foot ceilings because the entire space is lined in unfinished poplar wood and floored with rustic wide plank pine. The Hangar has 2 big bedrooms at opposite ends of the 70 foot long apartment; one with a Queen size real bed the other with a Full size real bed. In addition, there are 2 twin trundle beds, and the living room futon which unfolds into a full sized futon bed for sleeping.
Amenities
There is a full-function kitchen with gas stove, 2 under-counter refrigerators and microwave. No dishwasher. The living room is outfitted with futon couch, armchairs, flat screen TV with cable. There is one full bath with tub and shower. The apartment is equipped with WIFI and central air conditioning.
Rates
$125.00 per night plus a one-time cleaning fee of $30.00

Bernard was a great host and helped us out with the local scene - we ended up with fantastic margaritas barely a block away. Very short walk to campus to see our son and very fair price, especially when compared to the one on-campus hotel! Would certainly try to stay here again!

Perfect location; great connection to public transit and walkable to so many wonderful restaurants and bars on High St. Check in was super easy. Bernard showed us in and even Lilly and Leo (feline friends) gave us a warm welcome! Was there for a work session and loved the large table to lay out all my papers and notes, etc. Bernard let us stay until noon, which we appreciated for getting another hour of work in! Overall, great choice!

Great Apartment 5 of 5
Bernard and his family were very welcoming. They provided a very spacious 2 bedroom loft that slept our party (5) very comfortable. We were in walking distance to all our activities. We highly recommend this HomeAway.
