The Pied a Terre is our ground-floor loft-bed studio located in what would have been the kitchen of the original 1887 house.  You can still see the original 1-inch-thick wainscoting all around the walls.  For many years it was a student apartment for penniless graduate students. We installed the loft bed to take advantage of the 11 foot ceilings and gain some floor space. You will have to be comfortable climbing and descending the wooden “ship’s ladder” to and from the elevated bed. It has its own small full function kitchen, where you can reach everything standing in one spot, and a full bath with shower. The apartment has central air conditioning and WIFI.

This apartment is such a gem! Beautiful, clean, amazingly unique space in a great location in Columbus. The apartment was spotless when we arrived, with coffee, tea, and a great selection of books provided. Warm towels, cozy loft bed, and information provided about local amenities. Bernard was a fantastic host, and my husband and I had a delightful time. Would highly recommend!!!

Great, cozy little place. It is within walking distance of great places in the short north and was perfect for three people for one night. Nice, clean bathroom and comfortable bed. It was exactly what we wanted. Bernard is very friendly and helpful, and responds quickly to messages. My friend who slept on the blowup bed said it is actually the most comfortable blowup that she’s ever slept on, and isn’t noisy every time you roll around like most of them are.

Fabulous Loft  *5 of 5 *   Amazing location, beautiful place that is very well decorated. Bernard was more than accommodating. Parking can be a bit scarce depending on the time of day but this is part of being in such a central location. I would absolutely stay here again.
